♢ ABOUT OUR ORGANIZATION ♢
Kappa Phi Lambda (ΚΦΛ) is an Asian-interest (but NOT Asian-exclusive) sorority grounded on three pillars: Sisterhood, Service, and Cultural Diversity. Established in 1995 at Binghamton University, Kappa Phi Lambda is one of the largest and fastest growing Asian-interest sororities in the country, with 21 active chapters and 6 active colonies nationwide. The ladies of Kappa Phi Lambda hold academic excellence to the utmost importance, as well as bettering ourselves and our community.
Founded in 2002, our chapter (Xi, or Ξ, Chapter) at Northeastern University is over 150 sisters strong, making us the first and largest Asian-interest sorority chapter on our campus. We take pride in creating strong leaders and giving back to the community whilst forming everlasting bonds of sisterhood in the process.

Recruitment (or Rush) is a period in the beginning of each semester, full of events for prospective members to have a great time bonding with our sisters while learning more about what makes our organization so special to us! We can’t wait to meet and get to know all of you ^__^

♡ Tue. 9/12 • Speed Dating 7PM - 8PM | 224 Hurtig Hall Come out and get to know our sisters personally through some rounds of speed dating while enjoying yummy dessert!
♡ Wed. 9/13 • GIM 1 and DIY Chokers 8PM - 9:30PM | 097 Cargill Hall Find out more about what makes our sisterhood special in our first General Interest Meeting! Following the meeting, you will have the chance to show off your artistic side by making your very own DIY choker with the sisters! Snacks will be provided :3
♡ Thu. 9/14 • Potluck with NEU Sigma Beta Rho 7PM - 8:30PM | 097 Cargill Hall Who doesn't love to eat? Get ready to munch on some delicious food brought to you by us and the gentlemen of the Sigma Beta Rho Fraternity!
♡ Fri. 9/15 • The Hunger Games with NEU Pi Delta Psi 7:30PM - 9:00PM | 300 Richards Hall If there are two things Kappas love most, it’s food and the brothers of Pi Delta Psi ;) Come out and play with us as we take on some hilarious and competitive games! May the odds be ever in your FLAVOR :D
♡ Sat. 9/16 • It’s Game On with NEU Lambda Phi Epsilon 4PM | Lucky Strike *LIMITED SPACE, MEETING ON CAMPUS, TRANSPORTATION PROVIDED* Did someone say bowling?! Join us as we take on the brothers of Lambda Phi Epsilon in some friendly competition! Due to the nature of this event and its location, space will be limited. We will be sending out a signup link via email during recruitment, or you may also contact a sister to sign-up!
♡ Sun. 9/17 • Service Event: Cardmaking 3PM - 5PM | International Village 13 As one of our three pillars, community service is very important to us. Join the sisters as we craft colorful cards and thoughtful notes in support of our nation’s soldiers while enjoying some sweet treats!
♡ Tues. Sept. 19 • GIM 2 and Mocktails & Nails 7PM - 8:30PM | 305 Shillman Hall Missed the first GIM? Come out to our final General Interest Meeting tonight for your last chance to learn more about our sisterhood. Afterwards, pamper yourself with a fresh manicure--an essential for taking on the new semester!
