♢ ABOUT OUR ORGANIZATION ♢
Kappa Phi Lambda (ΚΦΛ) is an Asian-interest (but NOT Asian-exclusive) sorority grounded on three pillars: Sisterhood, Service, and Cultural Diversity. As sisters of Kappa Phi Lambda, we strive to create strong leaders, make a positive impact in our communities, and hold academic excellence to the utmost importance, all while strengthening everlasting bonds within our sisterhood.
Established in 1995 at Binghamton University, Kappa Phi Lambda is one of the largest and fastest growing Asian-interest sororities in the country, with 21 active chapters and 6 active colonies nationwide. Our chapter (Xi, or Ξ, Chapter) at Northeastern University, founded in 2002, is over 150 sisters strong, making us the first and largest Asian-interest sorority chapter on our campus!
♢ WHAT IS RUSH? ♢
Recruitment (or Rush) is a two week long period in the beginning of each semester, full of events for prospective members to not only learn more about our organization, but to learn more about the sisters as individuals. These weeks are for you to find out for yourself why life is always sweeter with Kappas!

♡ Tue. 1/16 • Meet the Sisters: Speed Dating 6:30PM - 8:30PM | 24 EV Now that you have your golden ticket, come meet our sisters for speed dating and sweet treats.
♡ Wed. 1/17 • Something Super Sweet: GIM 1 and DIY Candy Jars 6:30PM - 8PM | 19 International Village Come learn why life is sweeter with Kappas! We will also be creating cute decorative jars to keep your candy in, because you can never have too many sweets. :)
♡ Thu. 1/18 • A Scrumptious Dinner: Potluck with NEU Beta Chi Theta 7PM-8:30PM | Shillman 315 What do you get when you mix different cultures and food? A POTLUCK with the brothers of Beta Chi Theta! Come out to enjoy the food and the company.
♡ Fri. 1/19 • Tummy Tussle: Food Games with NEU Pi Delta Psi 7PM - 8:30PM | West Village G 106 Come and hang out with us and the brothers of Pi Delta Psi as we do what we do best: eat! Make sure to bring your loose shirts and comfy pants for a night filled with games, food and of course, fun!
♡ Sat. 1/20 • Take Home the Gold: Game Night with NEU Lambda Phi Epsilon 3PM-4:30PM | International Village 08 Bring your competitive edge to play games with the brothers of Lambda Phi Epsilon. Remember to wear comfortable shoes and clothes!
♡ Tues. 1/23 • Design a Sweet Treat: GIM 2 and Candy Decorating 6:30PM-8PM | Shillman 315 Missed the first GIM? That's okay! Come to our last GIM to learn more about us while using your creativity to decorate candy!
♡ Wed. 1/24 • Blankets for Project Linus: Blanket Making TBA Kappas love giving back to our community! Come make cozy blankets that we will be donating to Project Linus.
