Kappa Phi Lambda is bringing in Mr. Jim Fong, Chairman of the Board of Directors for the National Association of Asian American Professionals (NAAAP) Boston Chapter, who will be presenting on "Asian Success in Corporate". The goal of this professional development workshop is to answer any questions or concerns about working in the corporate world, and to bring insight to the career possibilities that may not have been considered or imagined. Highlighting his own struggles and the common obstacles that many Asian-Americans face, Mr. Fong will be sharing his own experience as a young Asian-American striving for success in corporate America. The workshop will be interactive, with participants discussing topics such as Imposter Syndrome, common pressures Asian-Americans may feel, and how to combat any stereotypes/tendencies that may arise when choosing to pursue a career in the corporate world. ♥️
